Too good not to share - cheery edition

I've been a little bit angtsy this week. So it's time for a cheery change of pace. It is Friday after all. So here are happy pictures and happy things.

A new blog I love: Moments of Being by Dani Shapiro. She's a writer and a deep thinker too.

Toss your expectations into the ocean  A) I love the title of this article.  B) The words are so true. C) It's particularly relevant to me right now. One of the reasons I've been having such a hard time with my novel lately is my expectations of my timeline and how long it would take me to revise and how many revisions I'd have to do. Time to toss that into the ocean.

A happy discovery: The Happy Writer's Society on Between Fact and Fiction. A series of posts dedicated to the bright side of writing.

Very encouraging - 6 personalities who will succeed as writers.  I think I've got at least two of them: diligent and sensitive.  Wish I had the insensitivity part down pat!

And in the category of sheer fun... Fingernails.  I've run across these manicures lately that have blown me away. But I'm not sure I'm ready to be a nail artiste.

Coolest nails ever.  Tribal: http://summerbattles.tumblr.com/post/6963744812/itwilleatyoualive-i-wish-i-had-skills-so-i

Happy Friday!
