Beta? Beta! Looking for a few good beta readers

Wanna test drive some fresh, un-tested, un-tasted fiction?

I'm looking for a few beta readers who'd like to read a little of my novel and provide some feedback.  Which is why I posted a snippet of my novel yesterday, to incite some curiosity.

I'm looking for someone who loves to read and is willing to share gut reactions.  This novel, I'd describe as fast-paced mainstream fiction with a nice dollop of romance and adventure and a touch of sci fi. If you primarily read literary fiction, this may not be up your alley!

I'm not looking for editors - no tedious detail work! No major commitments either. I'm not expecting you to read the entire thing.  I'll send it in chapters. If you don't want to read more after your first installment, all will be well.

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me an email and I'll get in touch!

p.s. The image is of Keira Knightley in her new Chanel ad - my favorite part is the end. And of course, I'm wondering what color fingernail polish she was wearing.  Chanel, I'm sure.

  6. I'd love to read your writing! I'm in the mood for something new.
I really enjoyed your maybe mother post. It doesn't really resonate with me,I have two kids and haven't had any fertility roadblocks, but I have lots and lots of friends who do.

    Take Care,
    Claire

  7. I'd offer to read for you, but I'm not sure my skills as a critique-er (is that a word? See what I mean?) would be helpful!
Love the little bit you put on your previous post. Also, I adore this chanel ad. Actually, I adore them all. Especially the one with Audrey Tatou...I just want to live in that commercial!
