April was nice (although it sped by). I am learning (I hope) to take it a bit easier on myself and not be so darn ambitious! At least not for so many things at once. So I feel a bit more rested now, ready for May.
Here's what I'm looking forward to...

Color class with Kat McTee at The Stitch Lab
So, I've become a wee bit addicted to classes. I wanted to take another class at the Stitch Lab, but didn't want to pick up another hobby! Lo and behold, I see this class on color. It's perfect, because I can apply what I learn about color to any of my crafty hobbies. And I've also become pretty color obsessed recently. So I'm very excited about this class.
Celebrating family birthdays and Mother's Day - always a good excuse to make a delicious dessert - Snickers icebox pie, anyone?
The END of Lost. This show has made me laugh, made me cry, pushed the boundaries of suspending disbelief, and always had me watching every week. I am sad for it to be the end. I am ready for it to be the end. I've been watching this show since the beginning. I want the wrapping with a bow.

Writing, writing, writing. Me, with a laptop and some earplugs, listening to a playlist that includes Eisley, Blond Redhead, Elbow, and Beach House. Playing air instruments and dancing around. Writing some more.
Blogging about what I love, because I love it...

Starting a new nail polish color collection - this time my inspiration is candy, more specifically eye candy!
Building out my new Chick Flicks Guide, page by page, week by week. Don't ask me why this is such a labor of love, but it is.
Getting our house painted and a new roof put on - yes, this still hasn't happened. But it will. And I'm so excited about it! And I'll probably be a bit crazed while it's under construction.
Happy May everyone!
Yay to May! I can't believe Lost will be over soon. I really hope its a good ending. I will have no more absolutely, don't-talk-call-look-at-me, must-watch TV.
